Hi Sam,
The only app would've been the gmail one as the email for the phone had just
been set up. I'll give that a go when I get back into work this morning and
let you know how I go.
Thank you and have a great day.

Hello Hine,
This behavior appears sometimes when 3rd party applications are installed and
removed from the home page.
But the issue was supposed to be fixed in the latest release, (3918).
Unfortunately you’ll need to perform a Factory Reset in this instance:
1. Long press on “Home screen” button in order to open background apps
running
2. Open the quick setting screen by pressing “Hash key” + “key 3”
simultaneously.
3. From this screen go to the “Parameters” button and press ok to open the
“Setting” menu
4. Select “Apps”
5. Press “Menu Key” and select “Show system”
6. From the system apps, select “Home Screen”
7. From “App info” screen select “Storage”
8. From “Storage screen” select “Clear Data”
Pressing Home Screen should then work.
Can you confirm whether a third-party app was pinned to your home screen so we
can investigate further?
Thanks
Sam
