Hi Sam,
I used the method a couple of times to turn off Kapsys, but it wasn't until I
used the code that it was successful in deactivating it. The only place it
will let me go is the phone menu. I'm still scouting around through the user
guide for any tips as well. Have also replied to Peter as he had a similar
problem a few months ago. I can get to the shutdown menu pressing both the
vertical and horizontal buttons, but the pop up message about the home screen
has stopped overlays accessing this menu.
Cheers
Hine

Hi Hine,
If you hold the volume keys simultaneously, you will disable Kapsys. Will this
then allow you to use the pho normally and navigate to Android? I have reached
out to Kapsys and will provide further information soon if this doesn't resolve
things.

Hi Sam,
I tried the code you sent and I was then able to disable kapsys as I'd tried to
turn it off previously, but it kept going even though a message saying it was
disabled appeared. The same message is still appearing about the home screen
and the only access point I have is the phone menu. Is there a way to hard
reset the phone? I've been looking through the user guide online and haven't
come across anything that may help yet.
Cheers
Hine

Hello Hine,
Do you have any additional available updates if you go to Settings, About phone?
Can you get to the phone screen by pressing the green vertical Phone key?
If so, try dialing *#111# to reset the blindness profile.
Thanks

Subject: [smartvisionau] Homescreen Error
Hi,
On start up I'm receiving the Unfortunately Home Screen has stopped. The phone
has been off for a few days, but apart from the update to version SV2-3918 on
the 20/06/2017. I was able to use the phone successfully after the update so
I'm not too sure what's happening. Any help or ideas would be gratefully
accepted.
Cheers
