Dave, These are good reasons for the pitch change however if the part were selected and I hit the up arrow I believe what would happen is the pitches on the staff would change and that doesn't happen, thank goodness! I am beginning to think it might have something to do with my synth. Thanks for all your suggestions and help with this.
