Hi Mik, I cannot speak for the other SW. But I know that hyperlynx can do sweep. I don't remember how far boardsim can go, but linesim can change almost all parameter. The only annoying thing, it will sweep all possibilities. You cannot choose the one you really need. This can longer simulation time. You might need a license for sweep simulation although. My best bet for you is to go with linesim if you have hyperlynx. Hi friends, I need some advice about SI simulation. I want to use sweep simulation (use different combinations of ODT and serial termination) and measures dozens parameters togetherin every single simulation. It is also important to control the input signal (voltage amplitude, noise amplitude, line coding etc.). Does anyone know is it possible to do in HyperLynx? At first I thought, export spice netlist from HyperLynx and use any spice simulator or even Matlab/Simulink to simulate and analyze a specified channel. But it is a bit difficult to do. Need to write simulation decks, test benches and measurement files. I'm not familiar with OrCad tool? What do you think is it possible to use OrCad SI tools in this case? Thank you.
