I think the big point is that judges need proper education on how a correctly
coated dog
should be assessed.
As we know, Germany has defined the stock coat. It should be part of the
education committee of the
PC to do this and make judges understand what is correct or not and to not
fault judge on a minor fault.
If coat length is removed, definitive wording needs to be included to describe
a proper coat.
