Sally points out what might be the problem. Is the Futurity just a
competition at the national?
If the intent is just to win, then she might be right. I thought the
Futurity was to showcase the breeders, and to show what is being produced. If
it is
just another competition, let's get rid of it, and let them all compete at
the show. In the process we can eliminate the Red Book, since it then would
serve no purpose. Now we can shorten the time for the National, and gain all
that extra time and work for other things.
I guess it depends on why we hold the Futurity?
