[ SHOWGSD-L ] need advice

i have a 9 year old male who has been on protopic and pred which did cure his
fistulas(developed late in his years)...we dropped the protopic to just twice
a week and the pred (10mg) only on the days he doesnt get the protopic...he
is losing all his hair and hair on his nose is a small circle where the hair
turned white...the vet said no fungus and it is not mange....am totally at a
loss...any help would be appreciated....vet suggested maybe a biopsy but doubts
it will show anything....he feels it is an allergy to something....have been
feeding him vet formula dog food....natalie
