[ SHOWGSD-L ] need advice

have a 12 year old bitch that started out with a dark fungus around her
nipples under her belly and then the hair started breaking off and the skin
turned black in color....the vet had us bathing with Mal-A-Ket shampoo....we
cleared up and then i noticed about a month later between her hind legs
underneath, hair started breaking off again, then i noticed it was breaking
off going down her tail underneath side and around the anus, the skin was
black....my vet said we could give her Ketoconazole orally but it would be
very rough on her stomach....i will see my vet again on Monday and if not
satisfied with him, will be seeing another vet next week for a second
opinion....any help from the list would be appreciated...thank you for
listening.....natalie.
