Do you worry about them licking it and ingesting it? I have a male, now
almost 10, who as a puppy had rather large testicles (!!!!!). So before his
furnishings came in he was chafing. Poor thing...honestly, this was
awful. It would just break you heart...(I tried everything and finally what
worked was soaking him, laying down, 2x a day in Aveno in the garden tub.)
I must have read the back of ever one of "those" spray cans standing in
Rite Aide and they all warned about ingesting contents, and you just know this
boy would have licked and licked...and in the end I didn't buy any of
them.
I often wonder what the clerks thought about my fascination w/ the products
on the male personal care shelves, <G> but I think I've gotten to the
place where I just don't embarrass anymore:))))

I had a dog that had the black fungus between the hind legs and sprayed

with the anti-fungal spray Tinacitin --I think I spelled that
right--anyway I followed the directions for how often on the can--and
that took care of
it in no time-- that is the stuff for athletes foot, etc. I saw that
Target has their own brand of anti-fungal spray now too.
In my opinion it is better than an oral preparation anytime!!

turned black in color....the vet had us bathing with Mal-A-Ket
shampoo....we
cleared up and then i noticed about a month later between her hind legs
underneath, hair started breaking off again, then i noticed it was
breaking
off going down her tail underneath side and around the anus, the skin
was
black....my vet said we could give her Ketoconazole orally but it would
be
very rough on her stomach....i will see my vet again on Monday and if
not
satisfied with him, will be seeing another vet next week for a second
opinion....any help from the list would be appreciated...thank you for
