We were just at a cluster of shows in Spokane, WA and Coeur d'Alene, ID...
within 20 minutes drive of each other. There was a Golden Ret. Specialty
on Friday before the cluster....entry of 98. And the numbers stayed up
for the Cluster. There was also a Boxer Specialty...over 50 Boxers each
day. The GSD entry was 5...of wich only 3 showed up.
These breeds are all about the same size.....and they all use professional
handlers to some degree.

Also Randy, and you are right, shelties, and other breeds, some, are MUCH
easier to get "truckloads" of
to shows...we can carry a max of 4 or 5, but that is about it...prefer not
to, if we can avoid it, lol.
Size is limiting , by itself.
Also as long as GSDs are allowed to race around the ring, it limits many and
their ability to show their own dogs.
