I have had the bad luck to be connected by contract to a top name  handler, 
who for years refused to show the dog. His co-owner  ( a  judge!) finally got 
her courage up, and got another handler. The dog finished  rapidly with 4 
majors, all in specialties. This is a good example of the power  of handlers. 
Even 
this prominent judge was afraid to cross this handler. I,  meanwhile, was 
having a well deserved nervous breakdown. Cured me of big name  handlers.   Syd
