if this is regarding my post..I can agree with your statement in part. if
you want to say that a large callus could be an indicator of a dog that
walks on his hocks...I could maybe go along with that..however..who is
going to measure the callus size??? Bull had larger calluses on his
hocks..according to this..he would be ruled out of a breeding program..and
would be considered a hock walker. if you knew Bull..you would know that
rear drive and follow through were one of his better attributes. Blanket
statements tend to get folks in trouble..again.. large calluses although in
some cases could indicate a problem..should not be used as the deciding
factor in judging or in breeding.when assessing the function of the rear.
