please remember that futurities are matches, not point shows. if there's
any more light that should be shed on this, (and it is an interesting
question), carol moore, futurity chair, is the one who knows of all new rules
as
they are made and would be the one to ask.

the futurity nomination year runs from October 1st through September 30th
of the following year. for example, litters to be shown at the upcoming
2012 futurities were born between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011.
the pups born on September 30, 2011 can only be shown in the 2012 futurities
and 2013 maturities - they cannot be held over until the 2013 futurities.
