I normally just lurk but I looked at the videos and had to speak up. All the
german show dogs in the videos had roach backs which is very incorrect no
matter
whose standard you go by. Beth Andrews and her working line GSD's

Carolyn, great post... horse conformation can vary due to breed. I always
preferred the look of some of the old lines of GSD.
I could not find any American Show GSD videos that did not include GSD's
with handles or owners to post so these videos are German GSD's.
Do you are anyone else know of any GSD videos like these of our AKC or
Speciality Show GSD's?

far ahead of
the dog that foot can go BEFORE touching the ground. The rear foot must reach
far under the dog
to begin the thrust that provides the forward motion. Notice that forward
reach
in the rear is lacking
when the front is pushed forward . I hope our illustrated standard will
provide explanation that
the written standard lacks.
