i just drove by charlotte two weeks ago on my way back from Tampa and on my way
down. its a gorgeous drive, smooth good highway not too much traffic. Its a
wonderful route away from the hurricane weather of the eastern seaboard and
past some of the most beautiful scenery in america. basically its route 81
south to 77 to 85 to 75 from new york to florida with charlotte the halfway
point.
