I went from doing way too much, different kinds of cooked to mush food, a
couple different bags of dog food mixed ahead, boy, when I think of all that I
used to do. And seemed to always have worries over digestion and inconsistent
poops.
Now.....
I feed kibble...two dogs 2x a day, but give Dreamer a snack at lunch (Tennie
gets a few kibbles so she feels included), I crockpot soupbones or something
like that to make a nice broth which I dilute like crazy, freeze in smallish
container and pour just enough for a quick moistening (doesn't get soggy or
drown in broth) over kibble just before I feed them. 1/2 a milkbone sometime
during the day and their teeth get brushed and cleaned when I do their nails.
Consistent poop, clean teeth (and trimmed nails):-)
Works for me.

slide around and are sturdy and easy to wash. I wash them by hand with soap
and hot water. The puppies eat separately from the adults, one of my bitches
prefers to eat in her crate, the others on a mat inside the dog room. I
never feed outside as it attracts flies and ants.
