My beloved CH Cassie added another dual award title to her name this
weekend. She finished her Herding Started (sheep) title on A Course. Cassie
believes that herding (as well as everything else in life) should be a timed
event
and the FASTEST dog should win, so for her to control herself enough to make
it through the course nicely, makes me very proud of her :-) Cassie will now
be known as PAM CH Carousel Farms Caisson MX MXJ OF TD HSAs RN TC OFA. She
is out of AOE Sel CH Carousel Farms Samantha PT TC OFA (2/3 HSAs) and by
Am/Can Sel CH Pinebuck's Kidd Carson ROM OFA.
Not to be outdone by his mother, Cassie's son, CH Yankee (CH Caisson's
Unconditional Surrender OA OAJ NF PT OFA) debuted in Herding Started (A course
sheep) this weekend. He qualified in 2 out of 2 runs, winning FIRST PLACE in
a
very large started class today (beating several very nice border collies,
shelties, Australian Cattle Dogs, Belgian Tervurens, and others). Yankee has
only been herding a few months and I am thrilled with how well he's doing.
Yankee is out of PAM CH Carousel Farms Caisson MX MXJ OF TD HSAs RN TC OFA
"Cassie" and is by AOE BIS/BISS Am/Can Sel EX CH Kismet's Sight for Sore Eyes
HSCs
TC ROM OFA "Dallas". Yankee is proudly owned by E.J. & Julie Degen, Nicky &
Lew Bunch.
Not to be outdone by his mother or brother, Cassie's other son, Sherman, won
a major reserve this weekend! Just 2 weeks ago, Sherman saved his family
from a house fire. Now, he's a hero AND a major reserve winner! Sherman is
also known as Caisson's Atlanta Burning PT OFA and is owned by Karen & Jim
Lollar.
