I was well aware of this. My dog sired Tacoma, and I knew Sid. I also
knew Betty well.
She fell in love with Tacoma at the National and gave him Grand Victor. In
the weeks after the show she and the owner talked, and Betty was able to
convince her that Tacoma should come to Florida and be co-owned by her.
I came home one day to have Tedi tell me we had a new dog. She had Patriot
in the back yard. I told her we couldn't do that, I had given him points
just a few months before. She said she had forgotten that, I was glad to
see the dog, and never considered that we might co-own him at any time. But,
I was glad we did. No one to my face said anything, but I know some people
felt I had that all planned before when I put him up.
I loved having George here, and then getting to show him at the National
in the parade.
We have a great Patriot son I now plan to bring out.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
