Ya know ...I have a hard time with folks telling me what I can and can not 
do....this is a rule that if I were a board member...I'd refuse to 
obey.....very bad decision by the board...and when they call next year asking 
why i did not renew...I'll mention that first!...Ed Hill

As I posted last week, this is indeed true,

As I posted when this thread first started, can you imagine the hoopla   
that would occur if this edict was passed in Congress or any public   
open meeting?  The media would have those who passed thrown to the   
lions.   That our board members can't give their opinion in any forum   
to which they wish appears to me just wrong.  This motion was made   
early Saturday morning.  Not only are the board members not allow to   
give their opinion on board happenings, the opinions that ARE given   
must be approved by the Executive Committee. 

I was upset about it then and am still upset about it.
