Sentinel heartworm med contains lufrenon...it makes the fleas sterile, so they
cannot reproduce. It will not ELIMINATE the fleas, just stop it from being an
issue. I had used that for MANY years without incident. It is very
pricey...100$ a month for my 4 dogs. But if you add up the cost of Frontline
and the expense of heartworm meds, it comes out to be just a bit more.
