In tick areas, it is only effective for up to 2 weeks. I use it monthly,
because I am more concerned about fleas here in the desert, but, when I am in
cooler/damper climates or traveling, I use it every 2 weeks. Nothing is
perfect, of course. And, I knock on wood alot!!

I have used Frontline Plus for many years. It does not contain the biocides
used in the OTC products this report refers to.
I purchase it from Australia. It costs less and the Australian equivalent of
our FDA, the TGA, is both more protective of the consumer and less corrupt,
than our FDA.
