I am terribly upset, Waaaaaa, I did not receive my gift from Mr. Hunte!! I
think I have been discriminated against, I think I will SUE.

Evan..I beg to differ with you on this. those we elect are voted in based
on promises to constituents to represent their wishes when it comes time
for a vote. Nothing angers voters more than to have elected officials vote
contrary to the platform that vowed to uphold. with that said..we all know
politicians make promises they don't keep..just to get elected..we all know
that the best 'talker" or the most charismatic person often gets the ear of
the people, even if they have the least qualifications. When an elected
official fails to represent the wishes of the majority of those that voted
them in..it is time for that elected official to go.when an elected
official represents a "special interest " group or person and that special
interest overrides the wishes of the people, such as in the case of Hunte
and the Hunte Corp..then the voters feel betrayed..again..it is time for
that official to go. I see Hunte and his PR person as lobbyists..he lobbied
some of our officials before the Board meeting..he lobbied 45 minutes to
all the Board members at the meeting.He lobbied through a Board member who
allegedly receives financial compensation from him, he lobbied through his
handler..He provided Board members with a folder of gifts..just as a
lobbyist would do..basically he was trying to buy the vote with his
charismatic presentation..and his glib talk. There is no riding the fence
on this issue..no gray..no room for double talk..you either voted for Hunte
or against Hunte. If you found that you did not feel comfortable with
voting or that personal liability may have been involved..then a Board
member could have abstained..or the motion could have been made to table
this for another meeting after further investigation. Look if ..if the
Board knew it was coming,,then there was ample time to prepare, investigate
your personal liability, all the possible outcomes and what your personal
responsibilities would be. some on this board are good business people..how
could you be so unprepared as to not know where you stood for certain if
you voted "NO"..explain Please! I make a prediction..Mr. Hunte will
probably down the road end up on the Board of the AKC..or on the Board of
the GSDCA...I believe he is that good at what he does and people have very
short memories..he knows that! Christine
