At the last Sieger show we attended, a gun test was held for every class.
At that time it seemed that ;any dog that showed any concern was heavily
penalized. We believe they were allmostly well trained, very sound or
deaf!

Hi Dick:
Thank you for your clarification of the Gun Test as it stands in the
Temperament Certification test.
While I realize that this test will be something that dogs will be
conditioned for; those animals who are now secretly sound sensitive will be
ferreted out.
At least one can hope that if the breeders who continue to say that they
care about this breed; that they will realize the link between sound
sensitivity and other nervous traits.
