Make sure my hands touch their food throughly. Associates scent with
caregiver.
Pet, talk to, and love the dogs as she is eating.
Give milk bones from my mouth to stregthen trust. I just hold it with my
lips or teeth while laying down in the floor.
Puppies I have had I have placed in the bed with me (not to sleep), and just
pet the pup and soothed her with my voice. They are more afraid of jumping
off than the are of you.
Big question, how is thier marriage? If there is fighting or arguing, or
negative energy, that can have an effect.

All good ideas Jason. I wouldn't panic at one week either. I'd add that
I'd snap a light nylon leash on her and hook it to a belt loop and just pretty
much ignore her as I went about my house chores for a few hours.
