Is that overflow of good dogs getting to all of you? The first step toward fixing things is admitting there is a problem! See, this makes my point, thanks Tom. What is bad about small? Some keep saying bigger is better, and give no reason for that. As Tom pointed out, Fords were small breeders, they produced Lance. Is the quality of the dogs being shown dropping, not that I have noticed. The quality in the ring is better today than it ever has been, and yet the entries are smaller. Maybe, it is time for those who have resisted to admit it, now join and say that smaller might just be better. It does no good to keep insisting there is a problem, if there isn't. Other than making more money in entry fees, larger entries do not provide better quality.
