Big is a very substantial 25.5 to 26 inch dog, The dog would have bone, head
and body that was large.
A large bitch would be a substantial 24" bitch.
Over sized, to me is over the high limit or at the top limit but too
big-boned and cumbersome. I particularly dislike tall, very rangy dogs lacking
in secondary sex characteristics and strength.
My ideal would be a strong looking dog with good dense bone and body who is
in the 25.5 inch range. That is plenty of dog for just about anything. If I
needed a quick, agile dog I would go for a compact 23 inch bitch. or a less
heavy boned 25 inch male.
