I'll say! Those old Kennel-Aire crates were the absolute BEST!!! It's sad that you don't see them around much anymore. I think it was amazing that the company made any money though because, once you bought a Kennel-Aire crate, you had it FOREVER! These things were just that good! I've noticed a trend toward people buying those collapsible, nylon crates and then using them at shows. (Or maybe it's just because the one show I was at recently was an indoor obedience match?) Nearly *everyone* who was at this match and brought a crate brought those fabric things. A dog could rip its way out of one of those in seconds if it wanted to. I saw more than one bouncy Lab where the dog was wagging so much, it looked like the whole crate would collapse right there with the dog still inside! I guess these things are okay for around the house, but I'm not too sure *I'd* leave my dog in one of them at a show. But that's just me I guess. <shrugs> I for SURE wouldn't want my dog in one of these things in the car! Might as well just use seatbelts. At least then, the dogs would be in the back seat and not right in the hatch in the direct line of fire should you happen to get rear ended. :( ~*~*~*~*~*~* Karen C.
