I dont want you to find a "cheaper" vet, but you do need one far less
expensive. That sounds like they want to take their next vacation on your
dime, so to speak. I dont buy the reasoning that you have to automatically do
a C-section, unless their vacation is over due. I had litters of 2 puppies
with no problem. For that matter, I had 2 litters of 1 puppy with no
issues. I think you need a second opinion. Especially since this is an
experience bitch who has had normal whelping.
