...I have a bitch due to whelp this Friday, the result of an Implant breeding
with frozen sperm....exrays today shows 2 puppies, not particularly
large....this bitch had a c -section last May ( I leased her to Ann
Marie)....11 pups, all lived....at the time of the implant my vet said her
uterus was in excellent shape and believed that there was no reason she could
see that we counldn't have a normal delivery......my local vet is afraid
because there is only two puppies, and the hormones they set-off may not be
enough to put the bitch into whelp!...the cost of a scheduled c-section from
this vet.....2,200.00 dollars!...I have spent so much I'm just not willing to
automatically throw out another 2 grand for two puppies....anyone ever had a
normal 2 pup litter?...or should I find a cheaper vet and do the c-section
