That is where I sit with the mother 4-5 times a day put the puppies on her and
make her leave them alone. Even with experienced bitches I always use to stay
with them the first week to make sure everything was going the way it should-
When My son was young I would send him down to sit in the box and make sure
they had plenty of nursing time
