I thought the same thing it would take over a week to send a letter to my
neighbor but
my carrier says the mail is coming back up the next day and its worked
faster. Before it
would sit on the dock for hours while they got the outgoing mail done first
now their mail is ready for them when they arrive. They closed the Ft.
Lauderdale Plant to mail processing and now are bringing back the carriers
from the smaller unites back to the main facility.
I worked 30 yrs at that Post Office. Retired in 2009
