IMO, the delegate's first loyalty is our club because, without our club's support, the delegate is no longer a delegate and is no longer eligible to serve on the AKC's board. Sorry to burst your balloon,but the minute a delegate from ANY club moves up and is elected an AKC BOARD MEMBER ,his duty and loyalty must serve the AKC first.
