What specifically would you have the parent club do to embrace the total
dog? Give a couple of examples from your perspective...........
I certainly don't agree with everything that the parent club does, but can
think of a number of ways that the club does embrace the total dog.....The
Hero Dog Award.....The GSD Rescue Assn.....the performance issue of the
Review....The dual title award....The GSDC-WDA section in the Red
Book.....The PAM section in the Red Book....Beautiful rosettes for high
scoring breed champion in obedience/rally/herding at the National....the AOE
award....the Select Excellent Award....the TC program..........I absolutely
love my big black and red rosette for high scoring breed champion at the
2009 National rally trial for my Am CH, Select Canadian CH Angelina...my
very first rally title <VBG>.....and had great fun being recognized in the
middle of the ring with the other high scoring folks....obedience, rally,
agility......Oh, and BTW, for all of these awards, no one asks if the dogs
were shown in all breeds or specialties.
