I have not been following this mare but who rode her for her other 19 wins?
Seems like this jockey was no good for her from the people on the list so
what did he do different?

Mike Smith know's better for sure....it did not work.
But I more fault him that he did not praise her and love her up like he

when he wins.....and this way it makes it dog related. So frequently I
see this in the show ring. Dog shows its heart out, comes out NOT the
winner
and the owners are down and just walk away with the dog.
I told some dear friends a few years back that inherited a dog that had
been subject to this......win, lose or draw love and encourage that animal
or
you take the heart out of them. They all understand the highs...make them
not experience the lows.
