I do not care for PennHip myself. Maybe in 20 years when it has a more in depth track record, but right now it just doesn't have the database that OFA has. It is also not as easy to find a vet certified to do PennHip, and they are generally more expensive than OFA. As others have mentioned, look at the "width" of the pedigree AS WELL AS the depth. OFA makes that easier now too with their database.
