Ileana - Exactly. If someone finds themselves in a kettle of fish, they
want someone who will get them out by any means necessary, whether they
deserve to be in the kettle of fish or not. They probably will be willing to
suspend their normal righteous indignation about immoral, devious, unethical
attorneys when it's their hide that is about to be cooked. Their posture is
then more likely to be, "Whatever. Just make this go away." Or,
"Whatever. Just get me out of here." Not speaking from first hand
experience, of course.

I've always thought that most people are a bit schizophrenic on the subject
of attorneys. Most people bad mouth them and make sweeping negative
generalizations about the profession until they need one. Then they want

I love Yorkies, but if faced with a home invasion, I want a German Shepherd
