Guess I have to go with none of the above. The most favourable response
for me is the dog that simply stands near his handler/owner allows an
approach,
allows someone to touch it without great fawning or familiarity, but does
not object to the touch. He must show no signs of being threatened provided
the approach is made in a friendly manner.
