wisdom to pay strict attention to the Standard of the German Shepherd Dog.

and have created a line of German Shepherd Dogs EASILY RECOGNIZABLE within the
Breed."
So you can see that this definitely does not apply to many people, even tho
they have had the required #'s of years, Ch's etc. The description and
qualifications for the Award are in the Roster for anyone to read.
The only breeders that I can readily think of in years past who have won
this award are--- CTH, the Fords, Joan Fox. There should not be an award
given
every year, and it was not meant to be a yearly award, but only to those who
exactly fit the "essence" of the award--- and those are rare nowadays.
