I had the pleasure of speaking to our former Editor yesterday. It was a very
nice conversation that went into some depth, was detailed and substantive.
She was the same as she had been when I spoke to her in 1999, when I first
wrote for the Review.
If you have any doubts as to her coherence, I suggest making a phone call to
find out for yourself. It's much easier and more direct than talking about
her in a public forum as if she is unable to understand what you are saying.
I read the post from another Lister. I am certain her experience with her
husband's disease was nightmarish. This is not meant to detract from that. But,
at the same time, that experience belonged to HIM.
Also, last I knew, this was a German Shepherd list. Where is all the DOG
talk?
