I agree with Barbara. This is the most logical way to keep a dog from getting
killing chickens or other small animals. I hope the lady, who first posted
about the puppy killing foul, didn't tell the owner to tie a dead chicken
around the puppy's neck. Hanging a dead chicken around a dog's neck is one of
the most disgusting pieces of advice I've ever read on this list. I don't care
if this method works or not. It is inhumane and unsanitary, to say the least.

I had a dog that would have gone after chickens and I cured her the best way by
keeping her in a fenced yard..This way my neighbors would stay friendly all
animals love to chase moving objects but to have them on a lease or in a fenced
