The Facebook page is a Page, not a group. There is no club business
discussed nor
is it allowed. There are other venues for that. Postings from and Open
Group or a Page
are available to be seen. Pages however do not show up on an individuals'
feed as
a notification. In other words, you won't be barraged with postings, you
have to go and look for yourself.
Unless you are tagged on a photo or "mentioned" in a post, by name.
Then you will see it show up in your newsfeed.
The FB site is designed to be inclusive, open, welcoming and friendly.
This I believe will be a new
experience for most , members or non members of the club. It is the
GSDCA's Welcome Mat to
Fanciers everywhere. That is just as it should be.
