as a member of carol's futurity committee, all i can say is that she does
her job and then some. shame on you, a non-member, for calling a
hard-working board member and committee chair a cry baby. that's pathetic.

I find it so interesting how people are so quick to criticize. The
working
people on this board gave up a day of work to attend all day Friday.
They
look at sites and made decisions about herding and agility and
hospitality. Then Friday night we were in a meeting from 7 to 10 PM.
In order to save $300 on my ticket, I booked a flight home that had me
boarding a Commuter flight to New York, at 2:45 and then wait 3 hours
for
my
connecting flight to San Antonio, which was 4 hours in the air, putting
me
home at 10 PM, exhausted. WOW! such pressing business.
Business is suppose to be done by noon. But I had to catch the airport
shuttle at 11:30 in order to stand in line for an hour to clear security
and
be able to catch this 2:45 flight. no lunch. Yes, we party so much at
board meetings.

Can't wait to see who the people who left the board meeting were -
strange
that so many would have other pressing business when these meetings are
scheduled ahead of time. Nobody is forced to run, but they have the
obligation to do the job if they run and win. It would be refreshing to

say "I am running because I feel very important, want the club to verify

am important, but I sure as heck don't want to stay and do the job".
