[ SHOWGSD-L ] EXECUTIVE COMM..WHAT WERE YOU DOING LAST NIGHT?

I noticed that the list was eerily quiet today. It is nice out, good day to
be outside, but it might also be quiet because nearly everyone is talking
on the phone about the "secret" meeting last night. That's right..another
clandestine meeting. Wonder who the target(s) were this time? Could it be
that yet another unanimous Board decision was rescinded? Another committee
chair told that their choice for an award would now be taken away...or is
the word on the street wrong again? Could someone please explain how yet
again the Exec. Com. has overturned a unanimous vote by the Board..and the
Board does included those on the exec committee, so why did you vote "for"
something publicly and then go into your secret meeting mode and vote to
undo the Board decision??? Just asking..Christine Oh and by the way this
was really supposed to be a "secret" meeting..NO ONE was supposed to
know..but there is always one or two who enjoy being the "town
cryers"..they revel in letting all know that they are "in the know" and
can't wait to share their wealth of knowledge. Guess no one ever told them,
once you tell one person, it is no longer a secret!!! Christine
