To verify parentage you can always do a DNA on the pups. Males (if they sire 7
or more litters) are required to have a DNA at AKC

I live in Columbus, OH when I had my male X-rayed 5 years ago the vet micro
chipped him and said in OH it's mandatory. I am glad AKC is making this happen.
Always think or hear about it. Not only is it unethical but the breeders are
breeding to the dog thinking he is OFA or the bitch is OFA.
Now if we could just make sure your bitch has been breed to the male you wanted
and not by a different male or breed to 2 males.
Always ways for breeders to be unethical. It's said but glad we will be
confident on dogs OFA
