When I was a brand new neophyte,way back ,long ago,most of us started with
dogs from Germany,including Lloyd Brackett. And since we really didn't
know what their pedigrees produced,we had to find out the hard way and Lloyd
told me to gamble and inbreed first, to find the faults first, and then
start to linebreed. Then ,as more and more people brought over more German
Dogs,we begin to have some choice with compatible breeding. But it took some
real communication between Breeders to start a breeding program Most kennels
were big,back then,with 12-20 dogs,kennel manager etc,. The choice today
is rather overwhelming,and more difficult,with the health problems . Helen
