Hi Becky, Thank you for your input. With any subsequent breedings with the resulting progeny do you plan to breed back in or outcross out? Catherine ________________________________ Subject: Subject: Brackett breeding discussion Date: Sun, 16 Aug 2009 19:53:29 -0400 From: gretchanya@xxxxxxx I've done a Brackett breeding twice. The first time I didn't realize I had until the puppies were on the ground. They turned out so beautifully, I repeated it. They are linebred Jim 2-3. First litter is nearing 18 months old. Second litter is 4 months old. And then there is my Jim son, who happens to be double-Jim (2-4). I did not breed him but have also seen his sister a number of times. Love the quality there as well. Lastly, we bred a CH bitch whose lines are heavy Andretti to an Andre Segovia grandson. Super fantastic combo. We also repeated that breeding. First litter is now 14 months. Second litter is approaching 3 months. Becky T.
