When Jeddie bloated and passed at the handler's I was devastated (and
still am.) But I sent Barb Williams her pedigree--I told her there
was one dog on it that I KNEW produced bloat. She took one look at
the pedigree and said there were 5 dogs on it. I didn't know. I
think we need to be better students of the breed. Winning is NOT
everything. I wish that Jeddie were here in the house with me, just
loving life the way she did.
