You are quite right about the work that goes into this.   Deb Hokannen came 
down here in the spring of 04 right after we had checked  Ford Park out.  She 
was so impressed she wanted to come down  immediately.
 
Since the board meeting here in July 04 I honestly don't  think a club has 
fought so hard for a national to the point of  representation at  most of the 
board meetings the past 4  years to ensure it did not get canned.
 
We committed ourselves along with members of other clubs in  Texas and even 
the local KC who have offered to assist us.  We are  not looking for pats on 
the back, but we are looking for people who want  to come and look forward to a 
lot of fun and as our president just said a  few days ago "the greatest show 
on earth".   
 
So come on down and let's all have a great show and great  fun!
