Their ears are cropped. I think Beauceron is singular & plural. (Like one deer,
20 deer.) They have double dew-claws on the rear legs (a MUST). I believe
they're essentially short-haired Briards. (Same dog.. different coats.)

Hello,
anyone know anything about these dogs?? they sure are pretty-but they sort of
look like a cross between a doberman and a GSD.
Just wondered about them.
They are one of the new breeds at Westminister this year.

BEAUCERON - HERDING GROUP
The Beauceron is an old and distinct French breed of herding dog, bred and
selected for their aptitude to herd and
guard large flocks of sheep as well as for their structure and endurance. The
ideal Beauceron is a well balanced, solid dog of good height and well muscled
without heaviness or coarseness. A formidable dog, intelligent, easily trained,
faithful, gentle and obedient, he demands respect wherever he goes (from the
Beauceron Standard).
