I shed tears as I read Carolyn's email about BOSS. It always hurts to lose a
beloved dog, but to lose one of the great dogs of our time, seems to add and
extra pinch. Like so many others, I loved the Boss dog and if any German
Shepherd carried the "look of eagles," it was him.
I met Boss at an early age and never did I doubt his future. There are those
dogs that seem to stand on a different ground, and almost appear to be elevated
above all the rest. His regal presence announced itself.
Thank you Carolyn for bringing this amazing animal into our world. The German
Shepherd breed is better because he was here. I wish I could comfort you in
your sorrow, but may you find some solace in knowing that his wonderful legacy
lives on.
